About Sprocky & Binx:

Sprocky and Binx is an acoustic duo, performing original, audience-participatory music for children of all ages, with a focus on animals, nature, and creative movement.

Lisa Housman and Dave Falk (AKA “Sprocky & Binx”) are seasoned musicians, and winners of several songwriting awards, and have performed critically acclaimed concerts, radio programs, and television programs throughout the U.S. and in Europe. Sprocky and Binx has also met with huge success at libraries, preschools, and community centers, as children instantly relate to Dave and Lisa's engaging personalities and beautiful, interactive music.

For the bigger folks, Lisa and Dave's folk/roots rock acoustic duo “Sweet Wednesday” has toured internationally, and has received heavy rotation on many radio stations, and has been featured in the Boston Globe, the Amarillo Globe-News, Birmingham City Paper, No Depression, and many other publications.

Singer/songwriter Lisa Housman sings and plays guitar, and also has years of experience teaching nature study/environmental education and drama to children and teens with Vacamas Association for Youth, UMass AGP/Urban Scholars Program, and Vanderbilt YMCA. She holds a B.A. in Biology/Environmental Studies from Oberlin College.

Singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Dave Falk plays the guitar, mandolin, banjo, violin, and harmonica with a brilliantly unique style. Dave graduated Summa Cum Laude from Cornell University with a degree in Classics and English.

Falk and Housman have a three year old daughter, Jasmine, who sometimes helps out at shows!
